Holiday Party

There will be a Class of 2012 holiday party at Hackworth's dance studio on Friday December 19th from 7pm-10pm. You will all be receiving an invitation in homeroom next week. You must pay ahead of time. We will not be accepting money at the door. $5 to go but $7 if you have not paid your dues. Sorry. A medical form, permission slip, and a waiver will need to be signed by you and your gaurdian(s). Pizza and drinks will be provided. Please if you could also bring a snack to share and there will also be a gift exchange. Girls buy for girls and boys buy for boys. Silly or serious gifts acceptable. $10-$15 each. You will need to provide your own transportation. See class officers or advisors for further detail.

Community Service

For almost everyone Mr.Casey has made a presentation in one of your classes explaining the details but I wanted to make sure that there was another source of the information.

There are 30 hours required to graduate from HRHS and it is recommended that you do 15 of them your freshman year. Black & White Dance

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you guys know that the Black and White Dance is coming up on Saturday November 15. It is from 7-10 p.m. and will cost $10 per ticket. The benefits of the dance will be going to Safe Haven. There are signs up at school also informing you about it.

Class Dues

Hey everyone,

Just a reminder about class dues. They are $20 and can be given to Ms. Walker or Ms. Streker. Get them in ASAP, especially if you want the chance to win an iTunes gift card. They must be in before Thanksgiving break.

T-Shirt Fundraiser

Hey,

I just made this shirt, and I was wondering if people would be interested in purchasing them as a fundraiser for our class. If we had 100 people in our grade buying them they would be around $15-$20 depending on whetheryou would like your name on the back. They come in all sizes.

Class Trips

As of now we have no definite ideas for class trips, we are looking for something that everyone is capable of participating in and that will unite us as a class. Give us some ideas and we will be sure to take them under consideration.

One idea I really liked was the High Ropes Course and I was also thinking a 5-day trip to Nature's Classroom in the Spring or early Summer. We would all stay together in the woods with our advisors and maybe some other volunteering teachers. It would be lots of fun and I am checking further into pricing and details.
